In the vast, quiet expanse of the desert on the eastern edge of Las Vegas, a search and rescue team was looking for a missing person on September 20, 2019, when they stumbled upon a grim and unexpected discovery. Wrapped within a sleeping bag was the body of a man, later identified as 47-year-old Hispanic male, Raul James Salazar.
