In the early morning hours of September 19, 2020, the life of 34-year-old Hispanic male Octavio Mejia was tragically cut short in east Las Vegas. The incident unfolded around 1:30 a.m. at an apartment complex on the 1700 block of Arden Street, near the intersection of Lamb and Charleston boulevards. Responding to a call, police officers discovered Mejia lying in the road, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
