Kevin Alexander, 38, a Black man, was shot on the night of December 11, 2017, at his apartment complex in the 4600 block of Vegas Valley Drive near Nellis Boulevard in southeast Las Vegas. Police said a man who appeared to be wearing body armor fired into Alexander’s unit from outside.
