On a tragic autumn morning in Las Vegas, the life of Lamique Wash, a 39-year-old Black/African American female, was cut short. On November 3, 2020, police responded to a call at approximately 7:15 a.m. at the Sunset Canyon Apartments on West Sunset Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered Wash with multiple gunshot wounds. She was rushed to University Medical Center, but tragically, she succumbed to her injuries.
