In the cold winter of 2022, the life of 29-year-old Vankeedra Johnson, a Black female resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, was tragically cut short. On the morning of February 21st, she was fatally shot in an apartment complex on North Nellis Boulevard. Responders rushed her to University Medical Center, but she succumbed to gunshot wounds to her torso.
