On November 7, 2014, Aaron Michael McHenry, a 24-year-old resident of Des Moines, Iowa, was fatally shot outside a home on Hickman Lane. The events leading to his death began when McHenry started receiving calls and text messages from Keith Collins around 3:45 p.m. Collins had initially arranged to meet McHenry at an Oasis store, but the meeting location was later changed to a driveway.
