In the early evening of February 6, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the calm near East Webb Avenue and Davis Place in North Las Vegas. When the chaos subsided, three individuals were left wounded. Among them was 17-year-old Mekhi Clark, a Black / African American male. First responders rushed all three victims to University Medical Center, but Mekhi's injuries, multiple gunshot wounds, proved to be fatal, and he died a few hours later.
