On February 16, 2020, a tragic incident occurred in North Las Vegas, Nevada, resulting in the death of 22-year-old Dre-Vaughn Deontae Dixon. The events unfolded late Sunday night when Dixon met with two individuals, 18-year-old Rodrigo Chavez and 19-year-old Blake Whittington, for a marijuana transaction near the intersection of Hamilton Street and Putnam Avenue.
