On a Halloween night in North Las Vegas, the life of 17-year-old Black male SeMauri Norris-Johnson was tragically cut short. On October 31, 2023, at approximately 9:45 PM, Norris-Johnson, a promising football player at Desert Pines High School, was fatally shot near the intersection of Shadow Oak and Spotted Pony drives.
