On the early morning of December 7, 2025, a violent tragedy unfolded in a residential neighborhood of North Las Vegas, Nevada, claiming the life of a 15-year-old male named Jasiri Weusi. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Coastal Dreams Avenue, located near the intersection of West Centennial Parkway and Revere Street. Reports indicate that the shooting took place around 2:00 a.m. in the driveway of a home where a gathering was reportedly being held.
Witnesses suggested that a group of individuals had arrived at the residence but were turned away shortly before gunfire erupted, sending people fleeing for safety and leaving bullets lodged in nearby homes.
First responders arrived at the chaotic scene to find three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, Jasiri Weusi was pronounced dead, his life cut short during his sophomore year at Valley High School.
