On March 6, 2024, at approximately 4 p.m., 19-year-old Marcos Kakogui was shot near Wilkinson Way and Dillon Avenue in North Las Vegas. He was transported to North Vista Hospital and later to University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. A 16-year-old boy was also wounded in the incident but survived with non-life-threatening injuries.

As of March 11, 2024, North Las Vegas police had not made any arrests related to the shooting. The investigation remained active, with a ...Read More
