In the late afternoon of March 6, 2024, tragedy struck in a North Las Vegas neighborhood when 19-year-old Marcos Kakogui, a male, was fatally shot. The incident occurred near the intersection of Wilkinson Way and Dillon Avenue. Following the shooting, Kakogui was transported to North Vista Hospital before being transferred to University Medical Center, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
