In a tragic turn of events on August 25, 2016, a 37-year-old Hispanic male, David Medina, was shot and killed in North Las Vegas, Nevada. The incident unfolded on the 2600 block of Glory View Lane, near West Carey Avenue and Simmons Street, stemming from what was arranged as a minor drug transaction.

According to Medina's girlfriend, who was present at the scene, he had arranged online to sell a small quantity of marijuana. She recounted to police that after they parked in a driveway, two ...
