On the afternoon of May 29, 1976, members of the Denver Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at a residence located in the Baker neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Upon arriving at the scene, the officers found two victims: 56-year-old Billie E. Harris and her roommate, Cecil Richards, both of whom had been shot to death.
