On a quiet Father's Day morning, June 16, 1991, a deadly chain of events began to unfold within the United Bank Tower in Denver, Colorado. William McCullum Jr., a 33-year-old male security guard, was on duty, unaware of the violence that was about to disrupt the morning's calm. An armed man, using a false identity, gained access to a secure area of the bank by requesting entry via a freight elevator.
