On a Tuesday morning in Denver, Colorado, the life of a 55-year-old white male named Kenneth Holzberg was tragically cut short. It was November 20, 1979, and Holzberg, a jeweler and coin dealer, was at his place of business, the Villa Monaco Jewels Jewelry Store, situated near the intersection of East Iliff Avenue and South Monaco Parkway. The day took a grim turn when a man armed with a gun entered the store.
