In the late summer of 1972, a young family's life was irrevocably shattered. Floyd Broussard, a 28-year-old Black man, was a salesman living in Aurora, Colorado, with his wife and their two children. He was scheduled to leave for a trip on September 19th of that year, a detail that would later become a somber marker in the timeline of his final days. However, Broussard never made it on his trip and his family would never see him alive again.
