In the early morning hours of a Sunday in late August 2022, a dispute that began at a house party in a Denver, Colorado neighborhood tragically cut short the life of Tomas Jimenez, a 41-year-old man. Described by his family as a loving individual who would do anything for anyone, Jimenez was not a participant in the party but a resident who lived next door. Awakened by the sounds of a heated argument spilling into the street, he went outside with the intention of calming the situation.
