In the winter of 2017, a young man's life was cut short in a burst of violence that unfolded in the parking lot of a Colorado Springs Kmart. Cory William Forbush, a 23-year-old male, died on December 27, 2017, from a gunshot wound. Originally from San Bernardino, California, he had moved to Colorado Springs in 2004 and was working as a glass glazier.
