On a Friday afternoon in Colorado Springs, police received a call reporting a shooting at an apartment complex on Galley Road. Arriving at the scene on February 5, 2021, officers discovered a grim tableau. Inside one of the residences, they found 44-year-old John Richard Roth, a male resident of the city, deceased. Another man was also present, suffering from serious injuries. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
