On the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, September 2, 2018, a burst of gunfire shattered the afternoon calm at a 7-Eleven gas station in Aurora, Colorado, leaving 29-year-old Carlos Obryna Henry fatally wounded. The incident unfolded around 1:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the convenience store located at 13690 E. Alameda Avenue, near the busy intersection with Interstate 225. Henry, a male, was struck by a gunshot to the chest.
