In the early morning hours of July 21, 2016, a single act of violence irrevocably shattered the quiet of an Aurora, Colorado, apartment complex and ended the life of 21-year-old Alexander Joseph Johnson. A male resident of Aurora, Johnson was discovered in his car, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. The vehicle was parked outside the Viridian Apartments, located at 1276 S. Joliet St. near the Gardens on Havana.
