In the spring of 2020, the life of 18-year-old Elijah Bojorquez was tragically cut short in Colorado Springs, Colorado. On the evening of Friday, March 20, 2020, Elijah, a male who was born on March 4, 2002, was fatally shot in an incident that unfolded at the Aspen Townhomes on Pikes Peak Avenue. The shooting marked the 15th homicide investigation in the city that year.
