On a late Tuesday evening, the life of 20-year-old Thomas Raymond Kinslow, a White male, was tragically cut short. On November 22, 2005, just after finishing his shift at a local video store, Kinslow returned to his home in the 3900 block of Constitution Avenue in Colorado Springs. As he arrived, a series of gunshots shattered the night's quiet, prompting several neighbors to dial 911.
