In the early morning hours of May 8, 2020, a neighbor discovered the body of 67-year-old Larry 'Eddie' Gomez inside his Commerce City, Colorado, home. The discovery, made around 5:30 a.m. in the 7000 block of Garden Lane, prompted a call to authorities. When officers from the Commerce City Police Department arrived, they found Gomez deceased and noted that the circumstances surrounding his death appeared suspicious.
