On the night of September 5, 2020, in the west Barnum neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, a burst of violence cut short the life of 39-year-old Alexander Dole. In the late hours, around 11 p.m., a fatal encounter unfolded in the 200 block of South Julian Street, leaving the man with a critical gunshot wound.
