In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Denver, Colorado, the life of a young man was cut short by violence. Eighteen-year-old Anthony Thomas, a Black male, was in the vicinity of East Colfax Avenue and Josephine Street when he was shot and killed. The incident occurred around 12:41 a.m. on October 20, 2024. When Denver Police officers arrived at the scene, they found Thomas deceased.
