In the winter of 2022, a family in Denver, Colorado, was struck by a tragedy that remains unresolved. On the evening of December 27th, 15-year-old Marques Hernandez, a Hispanic male, was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Grove Street, near the intersection of Federal Boulevard and West Colfax Avenue. When Denver Police Department officers and paramedics arrived at the scene, they found Marques deceased from gunshot wounds.
