In the early afternoon of April 3, 2016, Scott Breitinger, a 45-year-old Caucasian male, was waiting on his motorcycle in an alley in the 3200 block of West Nevada Place in Denver. He was planning to go for a Sunday ride with a friend he was there to meet. It was around 12:42 p.m. when the sound of gunshots echoed through the alley.
