In the late summer of 2020, the life of a young Commerce City, Colorado man was irrevocably altered by an act of gun violence. On the night of September 6th, Miguel Ocon, a 21-year-old male, was shot during a large party in the Denver suburb. The incident left him in critical condition, and for weeks, he fought for his life. Tragically, on October 31, 2020, Miguel succumbed to the injuries he sustained, leaving a community to mourn and a family to grapple with an immeasurable loss.
