In the early morning hours of December 28, 2022, the quiet of an Aurora, Colorado neighborhood was broken by the sound of gunfire. Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 300 block of South Salem Street, near East Alameda Avenue and South Peoria Street, around 3:30 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered a man lying outside with gunshot wounds.
