On a summer evening in Boston, the life of 20-year-old Antoine Perkins was tragically cut short. On July 22, 2006, Perkins was sitting on the steps of his home on Morton Street in the Mattapan neighborhood. It was there that he was approached and shot at point-blank range. First responders arrived at the scene around 11:44 p.m. to find two male victims with gunshot wounds on the porch.
