On the evening of September 22, 2018, a burst of violence shattered the normal Saturday night routine at a Jamaica Plain barbershop. Inside the Professional Barber Shop on South Street, 25-year-old Felix Paulino of Mattapan was shot. The incident occurred at approximately 9:50 p.m., a time when the shop might have been winding down for the evening.
