In the summer of 2007, the life of Damien Marcel Perry, a 28-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short on a street in Boston, Massachusetts. On the evening of August 4th, police responded to a report of a person shot at the intersection of Warren and Woodbine Streets in the city's Roxbury neighborhood. There, they found Damien Perry suffering from gunshot wounds.
