On a cold evening in Boston, tragedy struck on Dewey Street in the Dorchester neighborhood. On February 13, 2023, Paris Quilter, a 31-year-old Black/African American man, was fatally shot in an incident that also left another man wounded. The shooting occurred around 8:10 PM, prompting a response from the Boston Police Department. Both victims were quickly transported to local hospitals for treatment.
