In the summer of 2007, a visit home to Brockton, Massachusetts, turned tragic for 27-year-old Carlita T.T. Chaney. On August 16, 2007, the young mother of two was shot and killed. The man responsible for her death was her ex-boyfriend and the father of her children, Amaral Montrond.
