On a cold January evening in 2017, the life of 30-year-old Eugenia Gomes Monteiro was tragically cut short in her Brockton, Massachusetts home. A family member discovered the mother of two on January 9th, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene in her recently purchased Lexington Street residence.
