An 11 year old girl's remains are found in the yards of a steel company
Denise Cochrane, an 11-year-old girl from Brockton, Massachusetts, went missing on May 23, 1975, after leaving her home on Essex Street to walk to Huntington Elementary School. She was the youngest of four siblings and was a sixth-grade student at the time of her disappearance. Her tragic story remained unresolved for almost a year until April 28, 1976, when her remains were discovered at the Brockton Iron and Steel Company.
