In the pre-dawn hours of February 17, 2010, the quiet of a Brockton, Massachusetts neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to calls at approximately 5:30 a.m., police discovered the body of 32-year-old Uel Rodrigues in the driveway of a residence at 127 Nilsson Street.
