In the early morning hours of September 30, 2019, the life of 40-year-old Cary Walker, a male resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was cut short by gunfire in his apartment on Sherwood Meadow Drive. Responding to a call around 3:00 a.m., Baton Rouge Police Department officers discovered Walker inside the residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
