In the early, cold hours of January 27, 2016, the life of Alvin Trizzy Sealey Jr., a 19-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short on a street in Boston. He was found on Washington Street near Dunbar Avenue in the Dorchester neighborhood, having been shot in the head. First responders arrived at the scene around 1:40 a.m. and pronounced him dead.
