On a spring afternoon in Holyoke, Massachusetts, the life of 20-year-old Aribertic Harry Rodriguez, a Hispanic male, was tragically cut short. On May 14, 2019, Rodriguez was fatally shot in an incident that unfolded in the vicinity of Jackson and Clemente Streets. The Holyoke Police Department responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 1:46 p.m. and discovered Rodriguez suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
He was quickly transported to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation into the death of Aribertic Rodriguez led to the immediate arrest of a suspect. Paul Paradzinski, a 67-year-old resident of Holyoke who had remained at the scene, was taken into custody. Authorities announced that Paradzinski was charged with murder.
