Jasell Omar Camacho, a 27-year-old resident of Chicopee, Massachusetts, died on May 13, 2023, in Holyoke, MA. The incident occurred just after 1:30 a.m. on Lyman Street, near the intersection of Lyman and High streets. Police responded to the area following a ShotSpotter alert and found Camacho lying on the sidewalk, bleeding from a bullet wound. Despite attempts by responders to save his life, Camacho was pronounced dead at the scene.
