On the evening of February 24, 2020, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Lynn, Massachusetts neighborhood, leaving one man dead and another wounded. Christopher Gutierrez, a 34-year-old Hispanic male, was pronounced dead at the scene on Jones Terrace from apparent gunshot wounds. The sudden violence brought a heavy police presence to the area, with emergency vehicles illuminating the street as a crowd of onlookers, including children, gathered behind the crime scene tape.
