On the evening of September 18, 2020, a burst of violence in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston claimed the life of Dennis Mejia, a 43-year-old White / Caucasian male from Canton. The incident, a triple shooting, unfolded around 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of Hammond and Westminster streets. When Boston police arrived at the scene, they discovered three men suffering from gunshot wounds.
