In the late hours of Friday, November 4, 2022, a burst of gunfire shattered the night on Yarmouth Place in Boston's South End, leaving a 39-year-old Black / African American man, Jason Murray, dead. A resident of South Boston, Murray was found by Boston Police officers at approximately 10:47 p.m. suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene, just outside the Tent City Apartments, a place he did not call home.
