In the early hours of July 18, 2023, a tragedy unfolded in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston that cut short the life of a 45-year-old Black / African American man named Dante Webb. At approximately 1:39 AM, police responded to a report of a person shot in the vicinity of 159 Forest Hills Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Webb suffering from gunshot wounds.
