On February 19, 2020, Kareem Omar Garnett Jr., an 18-year-old resident of Boston, Massachusetts, lost his life to gun violence. The incident occurred outside 6 Cameron Street in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. According to reports, members of the Boston Police Department’s (BPD) Youth Violence Strike Force responded to a call for shots fired around noon.
