In the late evening of Sunday, August 8, 2021, the life of 25-year-old Miguel Sanchez, a Mixed Race male from Holyoke, Massachusetts, was tragically cut short. Emergency services received a 9-1-1 call around 9:24 p.m. reporting a shooting in the vicinity of Walnut Street. Upon arrival, first responders discovered Sanchez suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to Baystate Medical Center for treatment, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
