On November 7, 2017, a tragic incident occurred in the Lookingglass area outside of Roseburg, Oregon, resulting in the deaths of three members of the same family. Among the victims was Amory Adams, a 26-year-old woman who was the foster daughter of Donya Adams and the foster sister of the suspect.
