On October 1, 2015, Rebecka Ann Carnes, an 18-year-old from Myrtle Creek, Oregon, lost her life in the tragic shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon. Rebecka was a recent graduate of South Umpqua High School, having completed her education just a few months prior to the incident.
